By using ConvoResume ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

ConvoResume is an AI-powered resume building tool that helps you create professional, ATS-compliant resumes through conversational interaction. The Service is currently provided free of charge during our beta period.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity per account. Shared accounts are not permitted.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the AI features
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code
• Use the Service to create fraudulent or misleading resumes

4. AI-Generated Content

The AI assistant provides suggestions and generates content to help you build your resume. Important disclaimers:

• Accuracy: AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before using it in job applications.
• No fabrication guarantee: While the AI is designed not to fabricate information, it may occasionally misinterpret or rephrase your input in unintended ways. Always review the final output.
• No employment guarantee: Using ConvoResume does not guarantee job interviews, offers, or employment outcomes.

5. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain full ownership of all resume content you create using the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your resumes, personal information, or career data.

Our service: The ConvoResume application, including its design, code, AI prompts, and templates, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConvoResume shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time through the settings page, which will permanently remove all your data.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
